Leilani Too arrived back in Sausalito this evening - turned back Sunday afternoon because he was taking on lots of water.

The weather has smoothed out & is warming up - most of the fleet is just waiting to put up spinnakers.  Color Blind already has; also Etosha (Put up a chute...autopilot went out...took down the chute....fixed autopilot...put chute back up.  Sounds like good exercise!)  Bravo reports that Mondays are hot dog days, and that he should have brought more beef jerky.  Solitaire eating well...OK, his actual words were "eating like a pig".  Several reports of ship sightings - Bravo broke away from the checkin to talk to freighter Lihui.  Checkin turned into a radio diagnostic session - At Last called in strong but with distorted signal - figured out that the trick was to disconnect the extra grounding copper he'd just hooked up.

Transmissions still received clearly on Avalon but fainter and fainter...
