Fred Hess listened in on last night's and this morning's checkins...Not much position data but here's what I have.

Sat night: Could hear Bravo & Harrier loud & clear, others only via relay or faintly. Harrier was 1 mi south of the Farallones. Razzberies was at 37-25 N x 123-52 W. They had VHF contact with Giggles & Endangered Species, SSB contact with Etosha, Color Blind. Winds had lightened up & everyone sounded relaxed. (We'd heard on VHF in the afternoon that Giggles was having trouble with the autopilot & had switched to windvane, that sounded fine with him = "I've switched from race-mode to cruise-mode").

Sun am: Bravo still coming in loud & clear, also hearing Harrier, not the others. Harrier was relaying in reports from other boats. Etosha, Leilani Too, Compass Rose all doing fine. Lakota doing 18 kts - definitely more than fine! Wind sounds pretty good - Fred though he heard 18 kts, but that may have been an echo of Lakota's speed. No problems to report - everyone sounded rested and the conditions pretty benign. Folks are sailing courses around 226 (rhumb line) - noone going as high as great circle.

I'm going to go down to Fred's boat tonight and listen my_self - will report what I hear. ---T
