Subject: Bill Arrives Hilo! Date: Wed, 14 Aug 2002 From: Joseph Oster I just received a phone call from Bill! He arrived safely in Hilo at 8:40 am local time this morning (11:40 am Pacific time), twenty-four days after he departed San Francisco on July 21st. Nomi was there to grab his dock lines. He said he did many days of 100 miles or more in the tradewinds since seeing the ship on July 30th. He felt the weather really wasn't bad the whole way across, "the boat wasn't really tested".
